I don't know if anyone else is checking this blog, but I just want to say to anyone who reads it...I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT COMING!!! My husband is a youth minister and I, as his wife, share that ministry. We are seeing great revival among our youth and we are anxious to hear from God next week....Plus, being a Texas girl married to an Alabama boy, I can't wait to get there!

Hi Cindy! My husband is also a youth minister and I will be coming as well. I'm VERY excited!! We LOVE Student Life! We have to bring our kids so I will only be able to attend the Tuesday night service, but I'm excited.
I am a Texas girl as well, but we live in Arkansas. :)
Can't wait to get there!!!!

Good news, because I think every Christian in every church everyWHERE needs to hear what David Platt said last night.

In my 21 years of faith I don't think I've heard a better sermon.

Decisions are still being made concerning publishing the messages from REFUGE{08}. We will let you know when those answers are final and whether or not downloads will be available.

I am a student at Southern Seminary in Louisville and as far as I can tell (I missed chapel that day) David Platt preached the same message in a recent chapel service there. On Southern's website. Go here: http://www.sbts.edu/resources/Audio_Resources/Chapel_Messages/Fall_2008.aspx

Or, Southern has a podcast on Itunes and you could download it from there.

Maybe this will help until Studentlife figures it out.

Refuge was awesome!
